These are the terms for using Miles — the iPhone and iPad app, and any Miles Premium features. They’re written in plain English. By using Miles, you agree to them. If you don’t, please don’t use the app.

Using Miles

Miles is provided to help you track vehicle maintenance. By using the app you agree to these terms. You may use Miles on any Apple device signed in to your Apple ID, subject to Apple’s App Store terms.

Not professional advice

Service intervals shown in Miles come from a curated database and your own entries. They are guidelines, not legal or mechanical advice. Always follow your vehicle manufacturer’s official recommendations and consult a qualified mechanic when in doubt. Miles is not responsible for missed or improperly performed maintenance.

Your content

You own the data you put into Miles — vehicles, records, photos, and notes. Miles only stores this data locally on your device and in your private iCloud, if iCloud sync is enabled. We don’t access it, sell it, or share it. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Miles Premium

Miles is free to download and use with one vehicle. Miles Premium is a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks unlimited vehicles, iCloud sync, PDF service reports, photo backup, and future Premium features. The current price is shown in-app at the time of purchase. The purchase is processed by Apple through your Apple ID and is non-recurring — there is no subscription.

Miles Premium is tied to the Apple ID used to purchase it. You can restore the unlock on any device signed in to the same Apple ID via Settings → Restore Purchases.

Refunds

All in-app purchases are handled by Apple. Refund requests must be made through Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com. We are not able to issue refunds directly.

Disclaimer of warranties

Miles is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We make no promises that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the recommendations shown are right for your specific vehicle or driving conditions.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Miles developer is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to vehicle damage, loss of data, or missed maintenance.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be surfaced in-app and on this page. Continued use of Miles after a change means you accept the new terms.
